蔡渊对朱子“易有太极”说的继承与发展

On Cai Yuan’s Inheritance and Development of Zhuzi ’s “In the Yi , There is Taiji” Theory

“易有太极”是易学哲学史上的重要命题。朱子以形而下阴阳之变诠“易”,“太极”乃变之理。其弟子蔡渊则从形而上立意,援《易传》“无体之易”释“易”,承朱子“至极之理”训“太极”,“易”成为一种实体范畴。蔡渊又通过“易有太极”与“无极而太极”义理的交互诠释,厘清了“易”与“无极”的内在关系。蔡渊对朱子“易有太极”说的继承与发展,对周、朱道统地位之巩固以及《太极图》与《周易》之和会有积极意义。

“In the Yi There is Taiji”was the important proposition in the history of Chinese Yi philosophy.Zhuzi interpreted"Yi"in terms of the changes of Yin and Yang in the metaphysical,"Taiji"was the reason of changes.His student Cai Yuan from the metaphysical conception,quoted Yi Zhuan"the Yi of no shape"to explain"Yi",and inherited Zhuzi's"Taiji"as the"maximum principle","Yi"becames the physical category.Through the mutual interpretation of"in the Yi there is Taiji"and"Wuji er Taiji",Cai Yuan clarified the internal connection between the two.Cai Yuan's inheritance and development of Zhuzi's"in the Yi there is Taiji"Theory has a positive significance for the consolidation of ZHOU Dun-yi's and Zhuzi's philosophical position of Confucian Orthodoxy,and for the integration of Taiji Diagram and Yi.
