In Comprehensive English teaching,great importance should not only be attached to language knowledge and language skills,but to cultivating students’critical thinking ability as well.As an innovative teaching model,comment has turned out to be effective in promoting students’critical thinking.The application of comment in comprehensive English teaching can enhance students’active participation in class activities and simultaneously improve their language output and critical thinking abilities.
