生于世纪之交的沈尹默是一位典型的文人书家,一生历晚清29年,中华民国37年,新中国22年。沈尹默既是站在时代风口推崇新诗的“新诗人”,又是提倡帖学传统的“旧书家”。在沈尹默的思想观念中,“新”的实质是对时代需求的充分把握,“旧”的实质是对传统文化的高度自信。在他的心中,“新”与“旧”是统一并存的,这正体现了沈尹默兼容并包的文化观念。沈尹默“新”、“旧”一体的文艺观,值得当代书家借鉴。当代书家应以时代为立足点,注重自身身份多样化,承认书法艺术的独特性,并注意对取法的来源加以甄别。

Shen Yinmo,born at the turn of the century,is a typical literati and calligrapher,with a life span of 29 years in the late Qing dynasty,37 years in the Republic of China,and 22 years in the new China.Shen Yinmo is not only a new poet who advocates new poetry at the forefront of the times,but also an old calligrapher who advocates the tradition of classical calligraphy.In Shen Yinmo's ideology,the essence of new is a full grasp of the needs of the times,while the essence of old is a high degree of confidence in traditional culture.In his mind,new and old coexist in unity,which reflects Shen Yinmo's inclusive cultural concept.Shen Yinmo's literary concept of integrating new and old is worth learning from by contemporary calligraphers.Contemporary calligraphers should take the era as a foothold,pay attention to the diversity of their own identities,recognize the uniqueness of calligraphy art,and pay attention to identifying the sources of their calligraphy.
