构式典型性与二语水平对中国学习者日语空间表达习得的影响

Effects of Construction Typicality and L2 Proficiency on Chinese Learners' Acquisition of Japanese Spatial Expression

摘要 本研究探讨了构式典型性和二语水平对日语学习者空间表达习得的影响。结果发现:1)典型构式的习得情况显著优于非典型构式,两者差异与构式的认知复杂度有关;2)随着二语水平的提高,典型构式的习得情况显著改善,但线性与非线性增长并存,非典型构式的习得情况则呈现出更为复杂的非线性波动。上述发现表明,空间表达构式习得呈长期性、复杂性和动态性特征,为构式语法和基于使用的语言习得观提供了实证支持。 This study investigates the influence of construction typicality and L2 proficiency on Japanese as a foreign language(JFL) learners' acquisition of spatial expression.Results show that(1) the acquisition of typical constructions significantly outperformed that of atypical constructions,and the differences were ascribable to the disparity of the cognitive complexity of the two types of constructions;and(2) with the improvement of L2 proficiency,the acquisition of typical constructions improved significantly,wherein linear growth coexists with nonlinear growth,while the acquisition of atypical constructions demonstrated a more complex and nonlinear fluctuation.These findings indicate that JFL learners' acquisition of spatial expressions presents long-term,complex and dynamic growth patterns,thus providing empirical support to Construction Grammar and the usage-based theory of language acquisition.
