In a broad sense,climate change is a long-term shift in global or regional climate patterns on Earth,which can be driven by both natural dynamics such as solar cycles or volcanic eruptions and human activities.However,it has been shown that deforestation since the dawn of Industrial Revolution,combined with the persistent emission of greenhouse gases(e.g.,CO_(2)and methane,which trap the Sun's heat)from intense agricultural and industrial activities,are the primary drivers of climate change over the past two centuries(Ritchie,2020;Lynas et al.,2021).
