新工科、新医科、新农科、新文科的建设与外语学科建设关系密切。在跨学科研究的过程中,要注意外语的独特性。外语学科与任何其他学科交叉,都必须始终注重培养学生的听、说、读、写、译技能,提高学生的外语交际能力,拓宽学生的学科知识和其他相关知识。由于外语学科本质上是一门以语言为基础的学科,要与新工科、新医科、新农科和新文科深度交叉或融合不是件容易的事,需要解放思想,努力创新。

The construction of,new engineering,new medical science new agricultural science and new liberal arts is closely related to the construction of foreign language discipline.In the process of interdisciplinary research,we should pay attention to the uniqueness of foreign language discipline.No matter the subject of foreign language intersects with any other subject,attention should always be paid to the cultivation of students' listening,speaking,reading,writing and translation skills,the improvement of students' foreign language ability in communication,and the broadening of students' subject knowledge and other related knowledge.Due to the fact that foreign language is essentially a language-based discipline,it is not easy to deeply intersect or integrate with,new engineering,new medical science,new agricultural science,and new liberal arts and therefore it requires emancipating the mind and striving for innovation.
