Will ChatGPT,the top-stream product of artificial intelligence,which acts as a big language model that relies on big data,strong algorithm and super-computing power to quickly generate texts,really subvert artificial news production?This paper will analyze theoretically why the future journalism will be completely recreated by the big model and its natural existence will not be free from technical limitations.First of all,it is affirmed that ChatGPT's news content production does have great advantages over human labor.However,because its basic logic still depends on the domesticated corpus,it must be instructed by human beings to carry out auxiliary work.Therefore,it is impossible to completely replace journalists or even eliminate the human production in journalism.In the man-machine game of news production,different voices concerning the subjectivity and dominant position of man or machine,and the essential relationship between artificial intelligence and news production,such as silicon body and carbon matrix will continue to be heard.
