Associations of Social Integration andthe Risk of Depressive Symptoms Among Non-Beijing Native Couriers and Take-out Workers in Beijing

目的:研究北京市非京籍快递、外卖从业人员社会融入状况与抑郁症状发生风险的关系,为促进该群体精神健康提供参考。方法:采用问卷调查法,使用社会融入量表、流调中心抑郁水平评定10条目量表等工具,对北京市400名非京籍快递、外卖从业人员进行问卷调查,利用logistic回归模型进行实证分析。结果:北京市非京籍快递、外卖从业人员社会融入状况与抑郁症状发生风险呈负相关,控制躯体健康、工作中是否遭遇不公正待遇、社会歧视等变量后,社会融入状况好的快递、外卖从业人员抑郁症状发生风险低(OR=0.43);工作中是否遭遇不公正待遇、社会歧视在社会融入状况和抑郁症状发生风险间起调节作用,加入上述变量后,社会融入状况与抑郁症状发生风险的OR值由0.32分别变为0.37、0.43。结论:降低快递、外卖从业人员的抑郁症状发生风险,一方面需提高其社会融入度,另一方面需减少他们在工作、生活中遇到的歧视。

Objective:To investigate the relationship between social integration and the risk of depressive symptoms among non-Beijing native couriers and take-out workers in Beijing,aiming to offer insights into the mental health promotion for this group.Methods:A questionnaire survey was conducted among 400 non-Beijing native couriers and take-out workers using the Community Integration Measure(CIM)and the Center for Epidemiological Studies Depression Scale-10(CESD-10)among other tools.A binary logistic regression model was used for empirical analysis.Results:There was a negative correlation between social integration and the risk of depressive symptoms.After controlling for physical health,unfair treatment at work,and social discrimination,couriers and take-out workers with a better status of social integration had a lower risk of depressive symptoms(OR=0.43).Unfair treatment at work and social discrimination had a moderating effect on the correlation between social integration and the risk of depression.After adding these variables,the OR values for the association between social integration and the risk of depression changed from 0.32 to 0.37 and from 0.32 to 0.43,respectively.Conclusions:To mitigate the risk of depressive symptoms among couriers and take-out workers,it is necessary to improve their social integration status and reduce the discrimination they encounter in both work and daily lives.
