The Construction of the Chinese Academic System of Ye Tingfang and Kafka's Studies in the Pattern of Academic Transformation

重新勾勒中国卡夫卡译介史的发端与前期状况,以“两刊两社团,三城三语种,一人一符号”来概括20世纪卡夫卡接受的简单线索,由此在更为开阔的学术史框架中尝试揭示叶廷芳的学科史意义,并讨论其与卡夫卡学的中国学统建构的关系问题。

This article redefines the origin and early stage of the history of Kafka translation and studies in China and summarizes the simple clues of Kafka’s acceptance in the 20th century with“two journals and two societies,three cities and three languages,one person and one symbol”.Therefore,in a broader academic history framework,it attempts to reveal Ye Tingfang’s significance in disciplinary history and discuss his relationship with the construction of Kafka’s studies within the Chinese academic tradition,and proposes the proposition that“I don't know Kafka at first sight,but while rereading it I am a native of Fort”.
