With the further development of materials science,green industry has gradually become the mainstream trend in production,manufacturing,and material research and development.At present,the rapid development of the real estate industry has increased the capacity of green building materials in the market,and the demand for green building materials from all sectors of society is also constantly increasing.Based on this,the article elaborates on the characteristics and importance of green building materials in civil engineering construction,studies the issues that need to be paid attention to when using green building materials in practice,and corresponding countermeasures,in order to enhance the application range of green building materials in civil engineering.
