In order to do a good job in modern engineering surveying,surveying and mapping personnel should master professional surveying and mapping technology and be able to reasonably apply advanced technology in surveying.Therefore,in combination with practical application,this paper introduces the common techniques of modern surveying and mapping,analyzes the specific applications in mining,water conservancy,architecture,etc.,so as to improve the measurement accuracy and construction level of modern projects and promote the high-quality development of the entire project.
