This paper briefly analyzes the pretreatment of gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS)technology,introduces the composition and working principle of GC-MS system,and uses GC-MS technology in environmental monitoring,and analyzes and discusses the application of mass spectrometry technology in environmental water quality detection and atmospheric environment monitoring,and accordingly puts forward corresponding comments and suggestions,hoping to provide help and reference for relevant personnel.
