习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想融入英语阅读课程的路径分析

Principles and Realization Paths of Integrating Xi Jinping’s Socialist Thoughts with Chinese Characteristics for the New Era into English Reading Course

2021年,国家教材委员会发布了《习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想进课程教材指南》,明确指出,为全面贯彻党的教育方针,要扎实推进重大主题进教材课程。英语阅读是英语专业重要的专业核心课程,英语阅读课程与习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想融合,需要遵从统筹安排、结合学科、适宜实效三个原则。在这些原则基础上,调整教学目标、教学内容、教学方法、教学评价四个方面,采用习近平总书记相关理论论述的重要篇章英文权威译本为教学材料,以“学生中心,产出导向”为理念设计教学,依据教学评价持续改进。

In 2021,the National Textbook Committee issued the Guidelines for Integrating Xi Jinping’s Thoughts on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era into Curriculum and Textbooks,which clearly stated that in order to fully implement the Party’s education policy,major themes should be solidly promoted in the curriculum.In this context,this paper proposes that English reading is a core course for English majors,and the integration of the English reading course with Xi Jinping’s Thoughts on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era needs to follow the three principles of coordinated arrangement,combination of disciplines,and appropriateness and effectiveness.And on the basis of the principle,it implements the four aspects of teaching objectives,teaching contents,teaching methods,and teaching evaluations,and adjusts the course’s teaching objectives by adopting the important articles of the relevant theoretical discourses of General Secretary Xi Jinping.We design the teaching with the concept of“student-centered and output-oriented”,and make continuous improvement based on the teaching evaluation.
