明代郴州文明山地理实体的历史考察

A Historical Investigation of the Geographical Entity of Wenming Mountain in Chenzhou During the Ming Dynasty

成书于景泰七年的《御制寰宇通志》,最早记录了郴州有文明山的史事。从中华民族多元一体发展的历史视角审视,文明山地名之产生于明代郴州,与中央王朝的“儒化”“王化”进程密切关系。文明山地理实体名称的出现,既适应了表彰地方人文振兴的需要,又寄托了官民对未来科甲繁盛的期盼,同时更包含了传统文化智慧成果和中央王朝统治意志。明朝通过地理实体命名推广“文明”概念,推进传统文化复兴和盛世文明之治的做法,是一大历史进步,它不仅在中华文明演进史上具有历史意义,而且还有一定现实借鉴价值。

Official Geographical Chronicle of the Ming Dynasty,written in the seventh year of Jingtai,was the first to record the historical events of Wenming Mountain in Chenzhou.Reviewing from the historical perspective of diversity and unity of the Chinese nation,the name of Wenming Mountain originated in Chenzhou during the Ming Dynasty and was closely related to the "Confucianization" and "Kingdomization" processes of the Central Dynasty.The emergence of Wenming Mountain geographical entity name not only meets the needs of commending the revitalization of local humanities,but also entrusts the expectations of the officials and people for the future prosperity of imperial examinations.It also contains the achievements of traditional cultural wisdom and the ruling will of the central dynasty.The Ming Dynasty promoted the concept of "civilization" through the naming of geographical entities and promoted the revival of traditional culture and the governance of prosperous civilization.It is a major historical progress.It not only has historical significance in the evolution of ancient Chinese civilization,but also has certain practical reference value.
