This paper first introduces the definition and classification of solid waste,and discusses the importance of solid waste environmental monitoring.Then the problems existing in the environmental monitoring of solid waste are analyzed.Finally,a series of measures to improve the environmental monitoring of solid waste are put forward,including improving the monitoring system and monitoring objects,raising the technical level,upgrading equipment,strengthening emergency management and enhancing the monitoring ability of hazardous solid waste.Through these measures,we can effectively solve the problems existing in the current environmental monitoring of solid waste,improve the quality and effect of environmental monitoring of solid waste,and then protect the environment and human health.
