Disruptive Innovation Paradigm Driven by Business Model:Exploratory Case Study Based on SpaceX

通过分析SpaceX公司提出的太空运输模式,揭示商业模式驱动的颠覆式创新相关的创新维度。研究发现颠覆性技术可以是商业模式创新的基础,但是,商业模式创新同样可以催生颠覆性技术的研究开发;而且,颠覆式创新包含开放商业模式、组织架构、企业文化等一系列的组织变革活动。研究提出商业模式驱动的颠覆式创新的新范式,打开商业模式创新实现的过程机制的“黑箱”,强调颠覆式创新需要整体性的变革创新思维才能实现。

By analyzing the space transportation model proposed by SpaceX,this study reveals the innovation dimension related to disruptive innovation driven by business model.The study found that disruptive technologies can be the basis for business model innovation,but business model innovation can also lead to the research and development of disruptive technologies.Moreover,disruptive innovation includes a series of organizational activities such as open business model,organizational structure,and corporate culture.The study proposes business model-driven disruptive innovation,which opens the"black box"of business model-driven innovation process,and this research emphasizes that disruptive innovation requires holistic reform and innovation thinking.
