数字基础设施建设推动流通企业高质量发展——基于“宽带中国”试点的准自然实验

Digital Infrastructure Construction Promotes High-quality Development of Circulation Enterprises:A Quasi-natural Experiment Based on"Broadband China"Pilot

以数字基础设施建设推动流通企业高质量发展,已成为“双循环”新发展格局下加快构建现代流通体系的重要举措。基于2010-2021年中国A股上市流通企业数据,以“宽带中国”试点为准自然实验,采用渐进双重差分法实证检验数字基础设施建设对流通企业高质量发展的影响。研究发现:数字基础设施建设能够显著促进流通企业全要素生产率提升,推动流通企业高质量发展;降低经营成本和提高管理效率是数字基础设施建设推动流通企业高质量发展的两条重要传导路径。

To promote the high-quality development of circulation enterprises through the construction of digital infrastructure has become an important measure to accelerate the construction of modern circulation system under the new development pattern of"double circulation".Based on the data of China's A-share listed circulation enterprises from 2010 to 2021,the"Broadband China"pilot is used as a natural experiment to empirically test the impact of digital infrastructure construction on the high-quality development of circulation enterprises by using progressive differential method.It is found that the construction of digital infrastructure can significantly promote the improvement of total factor productivity of circulation enterprises and promote the high-quality development of circulation enterprises.Improving management efficiency and reducing operating costs are two important transmission paths for digital infrastructure construction to promote the high-quality development of circulation enterprises.
