Summary of Research on Archives of Turpan Administration in the Late Qing Dynasty

晚清吐鲁番厅档案是目前新疆仅存较为完整的清代地方档案。档案详细地记录了清末收复新疆、新疆建省,特别是建省后清中央政府对吐鲁番地区的治理和管辖,具有极高的历史和文献价值。档案整理出版后,学者们利用档案对吐鲁番地区的司法运行和社会治理进行了深入细致的研究。文章对这些研究成果进行分类总结和分析,并就如何进一步深化档案的利用提出建议。

The archives of Turpan Administration in the late Qing Dynasty are the only relatively complete extant lo‐cal archives of the Qing Dynasty in Xinjiang at present.The archives provide a detailed record of the late Qing Dynasty's recovery of Xinjiang and its establishment as a province,especially the governance and jurisdiction of the central government of the Qing Dynasty over the Turpan region after the establishment of the province,which has high historical and documentary value.After the archives were collated and published,scholars made use of the archives to conduct in-depth and detailed research on the judicial operation and social governance of Turpan region.This paper categorizes,summarizes and analyzes these research results,and puts forward suggestions on how to further deepen the use of archives.
