An Exploration of College English Reading Teaching Practice From the Perspective of Core Competence

核心素养视域下大学英语阅读教学是一种以培养学生核心素养为出发点,提升学生英语阅读学科能力的教学实践。当前大学英语阅读中存在的问题包括:对核心素养概念的认识不清晰,学生英语思维品质能力不足,缺乏全面、多元的学生阅读能力评价方法,英语阅读材料混乱,学生阅读兴趣和积极性不足等。要从改进教学方法、建立科学的评价标准、选择合适的英语阅读材料、提高学生英语阅读的热情和兴趣方面入手培育核心素养。

The exploration of the practice of college English reading teaching from the perspective of core competence is a practical research to improve students’English reading proficiency by cultivating students’core literacy.The current problems in college English reading include:unclear understanding of core competence concepts,students’lower English thinking quality,lack of comprehensive and diversified assessment methods,confusion of English reading materials,and insufficient interest and enthusiasm in reading.Therefore,possible solutions are needed in terms of improving teaching methods,establishing scientific evaluation standards,selecting appropriate materials as well as improving students’enthusiasm and interest.
