In the creation of two-dimensional animation,the design of the scene,as the key link of the whole animation creation,not only shapes the characters and promotes the development of the story plot,but also presents a vivid virtual world for the audience,carries the entire animated film's artistic style.Therefore,the scene design has a very important role.This paper discusses the creation and function of 2D animation scene design from the aspects of plot understanding,color design,space design,light and shadow change and atmosphere expression.
