摘要
circRNAs是一类单链环状非编码RNA,参与执行多种细胞功能,包括吸附miRNA、调节基因转录和剪接及蛋白质翻译。在病理条件下,大多数circRNAs异常表达与肿瘤发生发展密切相关,可用作诊断性生物标志物。胃癌是消化系统常见的一种侵袭性恶性肿瘤,circRNAs作为肿瘤的关键调节因子通过多种分子机理参与胃癌生长、侵袭及转移的调控。在本综述中,主要阐述circRNAs的特征、功能、作用机制以及其在胃癌上的作用,为胃癌诊断和治疗提供新的思路。
CircRNAs as a class of single-stranded circular non-coding RNAs have a variety of cellular functions ranging from sponging miRNA,regulating gene transcriptional and splicing and protein translation.Additionally,in pathological conditions,most of circRNAs are aberrantly expressed in malignancies and associated with tumor development and progression and can be used as diagnostic biomarkers for cancer.Gastric cancer as one of the most common digestive tumors is an aggressive malignancy,and circRNAs have emerged as crucial tumor regulators involved in the regulation of gastric cancer growth,invasion and metastasis through a variety of molecular mechanisms.In this review,we elaborated the characteristics,functions,mechanisms of circRNAs and revealed the role of circRNAs in gastric cancer,providing a new light into the diagnosis and therapeutic interventions for gastric cancer.
