深度翻译理论下色釉瓷翻译——以清宫廷用瓷为例

The Translation of Color Glaze Porcelain from the Perspective of Thick Translation Theory--Take Porcelain of Qing Court as an Example

陶瓷是中国古代文明的象征,优秀的陶瓷译作对中国文化传播有着举足轻重的作用。从深度翻译理论看,翻译的过程就是文化传播。据此,本文在深度翻译理论指导下分三类探讨清宫廷中色釉瓷的翻译,将色釉瓷中的颜色词进行深度翻译,即在直译、意译或意译加音译的基础上再加以注释,进而传达出色釉瓷背后的中国文化。

Ceramic is the symbol of ancient Chinese civilization and excellent translation about ceramic plays a pivotal role in the transmission of Chinese culture.From the perspective of thick translation,the process of translation is cultural transmission.Therefore,under the guidance of the theory of thick translation,this paper discusses the translation of colored glaze porcelain in the Qing court into three categories.The color term of the colored glaze porcelain is supposed to be translated deeply.In other words,on the basis of literal translation,free translation,or free translation and transliteration,the translation of colored glaze porcelain should be added annotation,so as to convey the Chinese culture behind the colored glaze porcelain.
