Risk and Regulation of the Metaverse in Social Governance

元宇宙不同于传统的现实空间,是基于区块链、数据等技术而打造的相对独立于现实空间的虚拟空间。元宇宙的兴起,在一定程度上促进了经济的发展和社会的运作,催生了新的社会风险,可能对经济、技术、法律、社会产生负面效应。因此有必要重视元宇宙的风险治理,以顺应社会结构变迁的需要,从转变法律治理方式的紧迫性出发建构体系化的治理机制。通过加强元宇宙身份认证模式,建立元宇宙监管模式、依法治理用户行为,及加强元宇宙底层技术的治理来有效防控其风险。

As different from the traditional real space,the metaverse is a virtual space based on blockchain technology,data,and other technologies.The rise of metaverse has,though to a certain extent promoted economic development and social operation,spawned new social risks,which may have negative effects on economy,technology,law,and society.Therefore,it is necessary to pay attention to the risk governance of the metaverse to respond to the needs of social structural changes.Considering the urgency of transforming legal governance,the risk governance should start with the construction of a systematic governance mechanism to strengthen the metaverse identity authentication model,establish a metaverse supervision model,regulate user behavior according to the law,and improve the governance of the underlying technology of the metaverse,thus effectively prevent and control the risk of the metaverse.
