XU Fengqin's Experience in Treating Heart Diseases from Jueyin

厥阴处于阴阳之气相互顺接的关键点,阴寒盛极,为阴尽阳生之节点。厥阴病最常见的证候为阴阳失调所致的寒热错杂证。乌梅丸为平治厥阴之主方,寒热并用,攻补兼施,临床用以治疗厥阴肝风内动、寒热错杂之证,纵观全方,酸甘化阴、辛甘化阳、辛开苦降,使阴阳之气相顺接。《伤寒论》厥阴病篇并未明确提出论治心病的条文,但厥阴经脉与心相关联,生理上相互联系,基于寒热错杂病机设立的主方乌梅丸可从寒热辨证方向论治心系疾病。徐凤芹教授从厥阴论治心系疾病,临床疗效显著。

Jueyin is at the key point where the Qi of Yin and Yang connects with each other.It is extremely cold and prosperous,and is the node where Yin makes up and Yang generates.The most common syndrome of Jueyin disease is the syndrome of mixed cold and heat caused by the imbalance of Yin and Yang.Wumei Pill(乌梅丸)is the main prescription for the treatment of Jueyin.It combines cold and heat,attacking and supplementing.It is clinically used to treat the syndrome of internal liver wind and mixed cold and heat of Jueyin.The whole prescription uses sour and sweet drugs to generate Yin,pungent and sweet drugs to transform Yang,pungent drugs to open and bitter drugs to descend,so as to connect Qi of Yin and Yang smoothly.The article on Jueyin disease in Treatise on Febrile Diseases does not clearly put forward the provisions on the treatment of heart diseases,but Jueyin meridians are related to the heart and are physiologically interrelated.The main prescription Wumei Pill based on the mechanism of cold and heat mixed diseases can treat heart diseases from the syndrome differentiation direction of cold and heat.Professor XU Fengqin has a remarkable clinical effect in treating heart diseases from Jueyin theory.
