Academic governance is an important governance field in the process of higher education modernization.The academic governance under the framework of governance modernization needs to realize the logical transformation from the academic contract model to the cultivation model of academic responsibility and highlight academic responsibility as the connotation of academic governance.The improvement of academic governance efficiency depends on the compliance with the internal running laws of academic profession,such as strengthening institutional rationality,changing governance perspective,and grasping the characteristics of professional endowments.By scientifically considering the attributes and characteristics of academic profession and upholding the logic of good governance,the modernization of academic governance logic should pay special attention to transcending the competitive thinking in the governance practice,promoting the inclusiveness of academic system,and reforming the"management-oriented"academic evaluation mechanism.With this as the purpose of governance,the logic of academic governance can realize the transformation from"contract modes"to"responsibility modes"of academic profession,and finally achieve the modernization of academic governance ability and governance level.
