To effectively guide the industry in using the new version of SJ/T 11141"General Specification for Light Emitting Diode(LED)Displays",the revision background of the standard is introduced in this paper.Based on the product characteristics,the key content of this revision of the general specification is summarized,including terminology definition,product classification,assessment and evaluation requirements.Combining the development of LED displays technology and industry status,relevant suggestions for the construction of the standard system are proposed.
