Other Discipline and Self-discipline:the Differentiation and Integration of Craftsmen and Artists

匠人与艺术家是从事工艺生产和艺术创作的群体,这两个群体之间既有分化又有融合。笔者通过对匠人和艺术家在工艺制作和艺术创作过程中所受到的不同制约的分析,论述了匠人和艺术家的他律和自律以及在不同的时期这一制约的转变使匠人和艺术家的界限的模糊,以期为当下对这两个群体的研究提供理论参考。

Craftsmen and artists are groups engaged in craft production and artistic creation,and there is both differentiation and integration between these two groups.Through the analysis of the different constraints encountered by craftsmen and artists in the process of craft production and artistic creation,this paper discusses the other discipline and selfdiscipline of craftsmen and artists,and the blurring of the boundary between craftsmen and artists due to the change of this constraint in different periods,in order to provide theoretical reference for the current research on these two groups.
