摘要
《蜃楼志》小说的一个重要地域特色是岭南城市文化的书写,作者为粤东人士,对清中叶岭南社会生活的刻画细致而真实。小说对当时岭南地区饮食、建筑、经济活动等日常生活琐事,登山行令、论诗听戏、赌博嫖妓等娱乐活动都做了详细刻画,对岭南洋商、岭南官员和当地岁时节令、鬼神崇拜、风水占卜等民风民俗的书写,进一步强化了小说的地域特征,描绘了大量清中叶岭南地区城市生活的图像。在岭南小说史上,《蜃楼志》首先将目光投向粤海关与十三行,具有独特的文化内涵与史料价值,小说对清代岭南官场的黑暗与腐败的揭露,开启了中国近代谴责小说的先声。
The writing of cities and culture in Lingnan region is an important regional feature of the novel Mirage.The author is a native of eastern Guangdong,and his depiction of social life in Lingnan area during the middle of Qing Dynasty is meticulous and true.The novel depicts in detail the trivial matters of daily life such as food,construction,and economic activities in Lingnan at that time,as well as entertainment activities such as mountaineering orders,poetry and drama,gambling and prostitution,and writes about Lingnan merchants,Lingnan officials,local seasonal seasons,ghost and god worship,feng shui divination and other folk customs,which further deepens the regional characteristics of the novel and provides a large number of images of urban life in Lingnan in the middle of Qing Dynasty.In the history of Lingnan novels,Mirage first focuses on Guangdong Customs and Thirteen Elements,which has unique cultural connotation and historical value,and the novel’s exposure of the darkness and corruption of Lingnan officialdom in the Qing Dynasty opened the precursor of modern Chinese condemnation of novels.
