Construction of robot subject in AI era and the imagination of posthuman community——On Klara’s image-building in Klara and the Sun

石黑一雄的最新作品《克拉拉与太阳》向读者展示了一个后人类状况下拥有自主意识的机器人融入人类社会中的图景。克拉拉虽然是被人类所制造出来的非人,但是她通过主动观察学习,成为一个拥有情感和思想,能够做出选择与行动的独立非人主体。克拉拉通过自由行动,与他人产生了复杂深刻的联系,并且以一个非人行动者的身份,与其他行动者相互影响,在整个行动者网络中拥有了属于自己的位置,融入人与非人共存的共同体之中。而在AI时代,将非人行动者纳入到未来的后人类共同体想象中已经变得愈发重要。

Kazuo Ishiguro’s latest book Klara and the Sun offers readers a vision of self-conscious robots integrating into human society under the posthuman condition.This paper holds that although Klara is a non-human created by human beings,by observing and learning actively,she has become an independent non-human subject with emotions and thoughts who can also make choices and take actions.Through acting freely,Klara has established complex and profound connections with others.As a non-human actor,she interacts with other actors,owns her place in the actor-network,and integrates into a community where humans and non-humans coexist.In the era of AI,there is a growing importance to take the non-human actors into the imagination of a future community.
