线上与线下:大学生学业成就与课堂人数的关系研究——以某高校“教育概论”课程为例

Online and offline:A Study on the Relationship Between College Students'Academic Achievement and Class Size——Taking"Introduction to Education"Course in a University as an Example

摘要 课堂人数是影响学生学业成就的重要因素。世界上很多国家把减少课堂人数作为提高学生学业成就的一种重要手段。本研究从线上课程成绩和学习的进度、线下课堂抢答情况和期末考试成绩数据等两个层面来构建学生学业成就的分析维度,采用平均数独立样本t检验和描述性统计来分析大学生的线上和线下的学业成就与课堂人数之间的关系。研究认为:课堂人数对学生的线下期末考试成绩和课堂抢答情况有显著影响;对学生的线上课程成绩和学习平均进度没有显著影响;课堂人数多的班级更容易出现学习困难学生。基于分析结果,要重视课堂人数对线下教学的影响,积极控制合并自然班产生的大课堂现象,采用恰当的方式开展线下小课堂、线上大课堂的混合式教学;在线上大课堂教学中,需及时关注学习困难学生;在不可避免的线下大课堂上,教师要充分发挥引领作用。 The number of students in the classroom is an important factor affecting students'academic achievement.In many countries around the world,reducing the number of students in the classroom is an important means to improve students'academic achievement.In this study,we constructed the analysis dimensions of students'academic achievement from two levels:online course grades and learning progress,offline classroom quizzing and final examination data,and used the independent sample t-test of mean and descriptive statistics to analyze the relationship between college students'online and offline academic achievement and the number of students in the classroom.The study concludes that the number of students in class has a significant effect on students'offline final exam scores and class quizzes,but has no significant effect on students'online course grades and average learning progress,and that students with learning difficulties are more likely to be found in classes with a large number of students in class.Based on the results of the analysis,it is necessary to pay attention to the impact of class size on offline teaching,actively control the phenomenon of large classroom produced by combining natural classes,and adopt appropriate ways to carry out the blended teaching of offline small classroom and online large classroom;in the online large classroom teaching,it is necessary to pay attention to the students with learning difficulties in a timely manner;and in the unavoidable large classroom teaching offline,the teachers should give full play to their role as a leader.
