结合研究生专业方向的案例式教学模式研究与实践——以“船舶与海洋工程专业应用英语”为例

Research and Practice of Case-type Teaching Mode Combined with Graduate Professional Direction:Taking the Applied English for Ships and Marine Engineering Major as an Example

“船舶与海洋工程专业应用英语”是船舶与海洋结构物设计与制造专业硕士研究生的一门专业选修课程。为加强研究生运用专业英语的能力,通过将案例式教学模式应用于课程教学,将与研究生学术方向相关的教学案例融入传统的教学过程,在教师讲授的基础上穿插案例实践环节,倡导研究生在案例体验过程中运用课程所学,促进英语语言技能与专业知识紧密结合,弥补传统教学方法的缺陷,在实践中提升学生的专业英语技能与运用能力。

Applied English for Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering is an elective course for postgraduate students majoring in the Design and Manufacturing of Shipbuilding and Marine Structures.In order to strengthen the ability of graduate students using professional English,by applying case teaching mode to course teaching,teaching cases related to graduate academic direction of the teaching into the traditional teaching process,on the basis of teachers teaching with case practice,advocate research in the process of case experience and promote English language skills and professional knowledge to make up for the defects of traditional teaching methods,improve students’professional English skills and ability in practice.
