The capacity building of railway disease prevention and control laboratory is directly related to the prevention and response to public health emergencies.Combined with the actual work,this paper expounds the elements of the ability of railway disease prevention and control laboratory from the aspects of personnel,equipment and facilities,materials,qualifications and capabilities,and site environment,and discusses the countermeasures and suggestions for improving the ability of railway disease prevention and control laboratory,namely,perfecting the quality system,strengthening quality supervision,focusing on process monitoring,strengthening business training,standardizing internal audit and paying attention to management review,aiming at further promoting total quality management,enhancing the comprehensive strength of laboratories and helping the development of railway disease prevention and control institutions.
