Based on the relevant codes of automation and municipal industry,this paper discusses and analyzes the automation control and instrument design of the stormwater detention and retention engineering from the aspects of automatic control,online detection instruments,security technology protection systems,lightning and grounding protection and equipment selection.so as to provide reference for the construction of similar projects in the future.
