星云纹铜镜是汉代铜镜中比较重要的镜式,从现有资料看,星云纹铜镜应出现在汉武帝时期,广泛流行于西汉中期,逐渐衰落于西汉晚期和东汉前期。星云纹铜镜的出现反映了汉代高超的铸造技术,不仅具有文物价值,还具有较高的艺术和科技价值,同时还是当时社会思想观念在经济领域的返照。

nebular pattern bronze mirror is an important type of mirror in Han dynasty.According to the available data,nebular pattern bronze mirror should appear in the Emperor Wu of Han period,widely popular in the middle Western Han dynasty,and gradually declined in the late Western Han dynasty to the early Eastern Han dynasty.The appearance of the bronze mirror reflects the superb casting technology of the Han dynasty,which not only has the cultural relic value,but also has high artisticand scientific value.
