Tracing the Origin Theory Resource and Main Research Track of Sustainability Transitions of Innovation Development

可持续转型(sustainability transitions,ST)作为创新政策研究的一个新兴领域已经引起了学术界的关注,但是还缺乏全面的总结和分析。研究全面回顾了1981—2020年间可持续转型研究领域的1990篇SSCI文献,以及国内的相关理论和政策研究。研究综合了定性分析,以及共引网络分析、主路径分析这两种定量分析方法。共引网络分析ST研究是在技术转型与可持续社会技术系统转型治理两个与文献计量学研究相关的开创性研究的影响下发展起来的。基于主路径分析,确定了ST研究轨迹分为三个阶段:(1)多层级视角分析框架结合转型治理构建可持续转型理念和框架;(2)多学科领域对可持续转型治理过程与相关理念和框架批判性、系统性的继承发展;(3)可持续转型政策研究。关于创新发展的“可持续转型”研究的主题主要包括五大方面:(1)可持续转型的多层次视角研究分析框架;(2)可持续转型治理;(3)可持续转型创新政策;(4)可持续转型地理学研究;(5)可持续转型的城市与社区研究。还包括一些交叉研究分支,比如能源转型。

Sustainable transitions(ST),as an emerging field of innovation policy research,have attracted academic attention.But there is still a lack of comprehensive summary and analysis.In order to solve the problem of economic,social,and environmental disharmony in China's urbanization process and explore new paths to achieve sustainable development,China's innovation policies and practical research are also actively responding.The national sustainable development agenda innovation demonstration zone is an important demonstration in China's innovation transition process towards sustainable development.In the development process of each demonstration zone,there are still a series of development bottlenecks and challenges in the fields of economy,society,and resources and environment.Moreover,there is just a beginning of research on the theory of innovation transition and innovation transition policies,especially when combined with domestic development practices,and some fields of research are still in a blank stage.In addition,there is currently no consensus in China regarding sustainability transitions as a new stage of innovation policy,and its theoretical framework and research methods also lack comprehensive summary and analysis.In addition,there is currently no consensus in China regarding sustainability transitions as a new stage of innovation policy.And its theoretical framework and research methods also lack comprehensive summary and analysis.Based on this,this research conducts a systematic and comprehensive theoretical tracing and development path analysis of the research on "sustainability transitions" of innovation development,which has important theoretical and practical significance.In summary,this research combines two quantitative analysis methods:Co-citation network analysis,and main path analysis,to systematically review and sort out the knowledge foundation and main theoretical development context of sustainability transitions research from 1981 to 2020,in order to provide reference suggestions for future research directions in this field.Innovation requires transitions in order to reduce environmental pollution and promote the healthy development of economy and society.As an emerging field of innovation policy research,sustainability transitions(ST) has attracted the attention of academia.However,sustainability transitions as a new concept in China,there is still a lack of comprehensive summary,analysis of the theoretical framework and research methods of.This research reviews 1990 SSCI research papers in the field of sustainability transitions research from 1981 to 2020,as well as relevant domestic theory and policy research.This study integrates qualitative analysis,co-citation network analysis and main research track analysis.The co-citation network analysis confirmed that ST retrieval field was developed under the influence of two pioneering studies related to bibliometrics,namely,technology transitions and sustainable social-technology transitions governance.Based on the main path analysis,main research track of ST is divided into three stages:(1) The multi-level perspective analysis framework combines transitions governance to construct the concept and framework of sustainability transitions;(2) Critical and systematic inheritance and development of sustainability transitions governance process and related concepts and frameworks in multidisciplinary fields;(3) Sustainability transitions policy research.The theme of sustainability transitions of innovation development research mainly includes five aspects:(1) The multi-level perspective research and analysis framework of sustainability transitions;(2) Sustainability transitions governance;(3) Innovation policy on sustainability transitions;(4) Geography of sustainability transitions;(5) Cities and communities of sustainability transitions of.It also includes some cross cutting research branches,such as energy transitions.It provides theoretical and methodological references for researchers and policy makers on how to achieve sustainability transitions of innovative development in the context of "carbon neutrality".
