西太平洋区域疫苗可预防疾病预防控制现状和未来战略框架

Status and future strategic framework of vaccine-preventable disease prevention and control in the Western Pacific Region

西太平洋区域国家在过去30年中通过实施免疫规划使脊髓灰质炎、麻疹、乙型病毒性肝炎等疫苗可预防疾病(Vaccine-preventable disease,VPD)得到有效控制,但在新型冠状病毒感染疫情期间一些高风险社区发生VPD暴发或再发。因此,世界卫生组织西太平洋区域办事处组织制定了2021-2030年西太平洋区域VPD和预防接种战略框架,以加强卫生体系和全民健康覆盖、预防非传染性疾病、促进全生命周期健康、增强卫生安全和提高突发公共卫生事件应对能力。本文总结了西太平洋区域VPD预防控制现状及其未来战略框架内容。

Vaccine-preventable diseases(VPDs)such as poliomyelitis,measles,and viral hepatitis B have been effectively controlled through immunization programs in the countries of the Western Pacific Region over the past 30 years,although some high-risk communities experienced outbreaks or reemergences of VPDs during the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic.The World Health Organization Regional Office for the Western Pacific Region developed a strategic framework for VPDs and vaccination in the Western Pacific Region 2021-2030 to strengthen health systems and universal health coverage,prevent non-communicable diseases,promote health across the lifespan,enhance health security,and improve the capacity to respond to public health emergencies.In this article,we summarize the status of VPD prevention and control in the Western Pacific Region and the content of the future strategic framework.
