The concept of"resilience"in"social resilience"comes from physics and was later borrowed by disciplines such as ecology, psychology, and sociology to analyze social-ecological systems."Social resilience"refers to the characteristics of the social structure that maintain social integration and promote effective operation of society when encountering destructive forces. The conflict between Russia and Ukraine has lasted for more than a year.Military conflicts,Western sanctions and some mobilization orders have caused social fluctuations and created social risks. However,Russian society has generally maintained stability, which demonstrates that Russia has strong social resilience.Regime stability, economic resilience, and unified values and ideology are the macro-external environment and guarantee conditions for the generation of social resilience. At the same time, the generation mechanism of Russian social resilience can be viewed from a micro perspective such as the mutual assistance of social networks, the differentiation and integration of social structures, and the formation of social psychology. These social infrastructures and positive social actions constitute a resilient social network to cope with, isolate, and respond to various shocks brought about by the Russia-Ukraine conflict. In this sense, through the Russia-Ukraine conflict,we can see Russia's social structure, social operating mechanism,state-society relations, etc.,which is worthy of continued observation and in-depth study.
