Learning from the Ancients and the Heart:A Study of Yuan Hongdao's Farewell Poems

袁宏道现存送别诗约100题181首。综观袁宏道之创作实践,可见其充分学习了经典送别诗的结构范式、典型意象、抒情方式,继承了“三部式”与风土类送别诗的书写程式;同时在自我表达与理论自觉的双重驱使下,对送别诗的面貌进行了相当程度的开拓,主要体现为乐观谐趣的情感基调的拓展、主体意识的张扬以及诗歌体裁的突破性试验。分析袁宏道送别诗,可以窥见其标新立异的审美趣味和诗学观念,也为了解文学理论与创作实践的辩证互动关系提供重要视角。

Yuan Hongdao has about 181 farewell poems.A comprehensive review of Yuan Hongdao's writing practice shows that he had fully studied the structural paradigm,typical image and lyric mode of classical farewell poems.At the same time,driven by both self-expression and theoretical consciousness,he explored the appearance of farewell poems to a considerable extent,mainly manifested in the expansion of optimistic and humorous emotional tones,the assertion of subject consciousness,and the breakthrough experimentation in poetic form.Through the analysis of his farewell poems,we can get a glimpse of Yuan Hongdao's unconventional aesthetic taste and poetic concept and also provide an important perspective for understanding the dialectical interaction between literary theory and creative practice.
