Chongqing Bolstering Global Ties with“Bringing-In”and“Going-Global”Initiatives

10月13日,重庆全面融入共建“一带一路”十周年成果暨蓝皮书新闻发布会举行。重庆市政府外办副主任、新闻发言人张娅茜介绍了重庆发挥外事资源优势,促进共建“一带一路”的经验做法。举办高规格国际会议张娅茜表示,在共建“一带一路”倡议框架下,重庆先后举办、承办了重要国际会议50场,其中,承办了中国共产党与世界对话会、纪念中国-东盟建立对话关系30周年特别外长会等国家交办的重要国际会议近20场,积极争取了“一带一路”陆海联动发展论坛机制性在渝举办。

On October 13,a press conference on the achievements of Chongqing’s full integration into the Belt and Road Initiative over the past decade and Blue Book was held.Zhang Yaxi,Deputy Director-General and spokesperson for the Chongqing Foreign Affairs Office of the Chongqing Municipal People’s Government,introduced the city’s experience and practice in promoting the Belt and Road Initiative by capitalizing on its advantages in foreign affairs resources.Hosting High-Level International Conferences Zhang Yaxi highlighted that guided by the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative,Chongqing has organized and hosted 50 significant international conferences,including nearly 20 important international conferences mandated by the central government,such as The CPC in Dialogue with the World and the Special ASEAN-China Foreign Ministers’Meeting in Celebration of the 30th Anniversary of Dialogue Relations.Forums,such as the Belt and Road Forum for Interconnected Land-Sea Development,have been held in Chongqing on a regular basis.
