Zhuanglang County in Gansu Province is severely lacking in water resources,which directly affects the local socio-economic development and social stability.By implementing the phaseⅡemergency water supply project of Taohe Diversion Project in Zhuanglang County,the contradiction between local water supply and demand can be alleviated.This paper mainly introduces the reasons for the implementation of the emergency water supply project in Zhuanglang County,the supply and demand relationship of local water resources,the tasks of the water supply project,and the main buildings.It provides ideas for the contradiction between water supply and demand,water use scheduling,and water supply engineering construction in other water scarcity areas.
