中国心视界下的“厚德载物”论析

中国心是中国人所具有的文化心理特质,其核心是中国文化精神——“自强不息,厚德载物”。其中,“厚德载物”中的“物”是一个人所具有或想取得的社会地位或身份、名声、功业、财富、权力等身外之物,“德”是与它们相符合能够承担起这些身外之物的心理素养。“厚德载物”就是不断培养、增进、厚实或提升与人的社会地位或身份、名声、功业、财富、权力等相匹配的素养即德性。否则,德不配位,必有灾殃。依据这一概念,“中国心”是承载中国人身份的必备条件,要做一个能承担中国文化的传承和发展以及中华民族的繁荣昌盛的社会责任或使命的中国人,就必须培养和增强中国心。承担的责任或使命越大,“中国心”就应越强越大。基于此,德育应该把培养学生的中国心尤其是中国文化精神作为重要教育内容。

s:Chinese Xin(heart)is the cultural mental traits possessed by Chinese people,with its core being Chinese cultural spirit that is Zi-Qiang-Bu-Xi(constant self-improvement)and Hou-De-Zai-Wu(self-discipline and social commitment).The"Wu"of Hou-De-Zai-Wu refers to the worldly possessions that one has or wants to achieve,such as the social status or identity,reputation,exploits,wealth,power,etc."De"refers to the mental qualities that corresponds to them and can bear these worldly possessions."Hou-De-Zai-Wu"is to continuously cultivate,improve,enrich or enhance the qualities that match people's social status or identity,reputation,merit,wealth,power,etc.,that is,De-Xing.Otherwise,if"De"does not match,disaster would inevitably happen.According to this concept,Chinese Xin(heart)is a necessary condition for carrying the identity of Chinese people.To be a Chinese who can undertake the social responsibility or mission of inheriting and developing Chinese culture and the prosperity of the Chinese nation,it is necessary to cultivate and enhance Chinese Xin(heart).The greater the responsibility or mission undertaken,the stronger and greater the Chinese Xin(heart)should be.Based on this,moral education should take cultivating students'Chinese Xin(heart),especially the spirit of Chinese culture,as important educational contents.
