This article introduces the waterproofing provisions for exterior wall under current specifications and the practical applications of exterior wall waterproofing in traditional engineering.It analyzes the new requirements for exterior wall waterproofing in the mandatory waterproofing standard GB 55030—2022“General code for waterproofing of building and municipal engineering”,and discusses the selection and application characteristics of various waterproofing materials in exterior wall waterproofing engineering.It also recommends relatively reliable exterior wall waterproofing schemes.
