苏轼曾在诗中写到:“食者竹笋,庇者竹瓦,载者竹筏,爨者竹薪,衣者竹皮,书者竹纸,履者竹鞋,真可谓一日不可无此君也耶?”竹笋可以食用,竹子可以造房子做竹筏、当柴烧、做衣服、做纸、做鞋。古时候,从文人雅士到市井百姓,无人不爱竹,无人不用竹。

China has the richest bamboo resources and produces the largest guantity of bamboo products in the world.Bamboo is evergreen(常绿的)throughout the year and grows straight.It symbolises good qualities in the eyes of Chinese people.Therefore,China is also known as the“Nation of Bamboo Civllization.”
