The new trend of globalization emphasizes human development and requires college stu-dents to shift from a knowledge-based approach to a quality based approach and an ability based approach.In this context,constructing a new talent cultivation model and exploring its practical path in teaching activ-ities has positive practical significance.The article explores the construction of a global competency talent cultivation model from the four dimensions of“knowledge,cognitive skills,social skills and attitudes,and values”,with global competency cultivation as the core goal and the implementation of moral education as the fundamental task,cultivating students’comprehensive literacy,promoting the innovation of talent culti-vation models in universities,striving to promote global competency talent cultivation,and assisting China in the new journey of comprehensively building a socialist modernized country.
