党的二十大报告指出,中国式现代化为人类实现现代化提供了新的选择。中国式现代化是中国共产党领导全国各族人民在长期探索和实践中取得的重大成果。尽管周恩来在当时的历史条件下,没有也不可能提出这个概念,但他的一生就是为实现中国式现代化而奋斗的一生。周恩来早年为实现“中华腾飞世界”的中华民族伟大复兴,经过推求比较确立共产主义信仰,选择为探索中国社会主义现代化建设——中国式现代化而奋斗是历史的必然;他投身的党领导的新民主主义革命的最终胜利,为实现中国式现代化创造了根本制度前提和社会条件;他参与运筹帷幄,艰辛探索适合中国国情的社会主义道路,为中国式现代化的理论和实践奠定了坚实基础;他为新时代习近平构建中国式现代化理论体系提供了思想因子,特别是他提出的关于社会主义现代化建设道路的奋斗目标、战略部署、主要内涵、本质要求等的重要思想,对于我们深入认识和研究新时代习近平构建中国式现代化理论体系具有重要启示意义。社会主义现代化建设是个长期的历史发展过程,而周恩来的相关思想和实践是认识和推进中国式现代化的重要一环。

The Report to the 20th National Congress of the CPC points out that Chinese path to modernization offers humanity a new choice for achieving modernization.It is a major achievement made by the people of all ethnic groups of China under the leadership of the CPC during long-term exploration and practice.Although Zhou Enlai did not and could not put forward this concept under the historical conditions at that period of his time,his life is a life of struggle for achieving Chinese modernization.During his early years,in order to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,Zhou Enlai established his belief in communism through comparison and reasoning,and chose to fight for the exploration of Chinese path to modernization,which is a historical necessity.The ultimate victory of the new democratic revolution led by the Party to which he devoted himself creates fundamental institutional premise and social conditions for the realization of Chinese modernization.He devised strategies and painstakingly explored socialist road suitable for China’s national conditions,laying solid foundation for the theory and practice of Chinese modernization.He provides ideological factors for Xi Jinping to develop theoretical system of Chinese path to modernizationin the new era.The construction of socialist modernization is a long-term historical development process.Zhou Enlai’s relevant thought and practice is an important basis for understanding and promoting Chinese modernization.
