摘要
视觉戏剧构作是一种以视觉逻辑而非文学逻辑为核心的创作方式,它体现了罗伯特·勒帕吉标志性戏剧美学的本质—非文字的、视觉的、多含义的。本文从以下三个方面描述勒帕吉的视觉戏剧构作:开放性文本—场景写作、电影化—蒙太奇美学和机器主义—诡计。开放性文本—场景写作指向勒帕吉对待文本的态度和其创作方式。电影化—蒙太奇美学指向戏剧的视觉呈现和其开放性结构。机器主义—诡计体现其演出的核心是变形和联想,并指向其戏剧是一种转换仪式。本文通过梳理与探究勒帕吉的视觉戏剧构作,理清其创作本质,试图为戏剧从业者提供创作参考和理论支持。
Visual Dramaturgy is a creative approach that centers on visual logic rather than literary logic.It embodies the essence of Robert Lepage's iconic theatre aesthetics:non-literal,visual,and multi-layered in meaning.This paper describes the construction of Lepage's Visual Dramaturgy from three key aspects:Open Text-Scene Writing,Cinematic-Montage Aesthetics,and Mechanism-Trick.Open Text-Scene Writing reflects Lepage's attitude towards text and his creative style.Cinematic-Montage Aesthetics focuses on the visual presentation of theatre and its open structure.At the core of Mechanism-Trick lies deformation and association,which symbolize theatre as a transformative ritual.By exploring and studying Lepage's Visual Dramaturgy,this paper aims to clarify its creative essence and provide creative reference and theoretical support for theatre practitioners.
