This paper introduces the importance of deep foundation pit support technology based on a municipal engineering construction case,discusses the construction difficulties of deep foundation pit support technology,and proposes several breakthrough paths.Deep foundation pit support technology has difficulties in municipal construction,such as narrow space,many underground interference factors,and adjacent to existing buildings,and technical personnel should formulate breakthrough plans according to different construction difficulties.
