红罗女的故事,是具有满族历史文化元素的优美传说,它形成于渤海时期。满族说部中的《红罗女三打契丹》《比剑联姻》《绿罗秀演义》(残本)是红罗女传奇的重要文本,也是当时渤海社会文化的生动记录。从这些文本中可以看出,当时的渤海有着较为开放的社会文化观:女权思想得到强化的女性观、儒家思想占统治地位的义利观、尊重自然敬畏生命的自然观以及惩恶扬善、保家卫国的生命价值观。这些社会文化观,是渤海固有的文化观念与当时唐朝的文化气象相互融合形成的,对渤海的社会发展产生了很大的影响。

The story of Hongluonv is a beautiful legend with Manchu historical and cultural elements,which was formed in the Bohai period.The"Three Attacks on Khitan by Hongluonv""Marriage Acquired through a Competition in Swordsmanship""Romance of Lvluoxiu"(fragmentary edition)of the Manchu oral books are important texts of the the Saga of Hongluonv,and they also vividly recorded the social-culture of Bohai by then.It can be seen from these texts that Bohai at that time had a relatively open social-cultural view:which included a view of women with strengthened feminist ideology,a view of righteousness and interests dominated by Confucianism,and a pluralistic view of religion.These social-cultural views were formed by the integration of the intrinsic cultures of Bohai and the new climate of the Tang dynasty at that time,which had a great impact on the social development of Bohai.
