On Theories and Methods of Modern Civilization for Promoting the Building of Community for the Chinese Nation

中华民族共同体的本质是文明共同体。在广泛深入的交往交流交融基础上,我国各族人民共同形塑的中华文明具有突出的连续性、创新性、统一性、包容性与和平性,为当代中华民族共同体建设打牢了文明根基。新时代背景下,全面推进中华民族共同体建设,我们党聚焦物质文明、政治文明、精神文明、社会文明和生态文明等不同向度,取得了一系列深化民族团结进步的文明成果。在全面推进中华民族现代文明建设的过程中,夯实经济建设、政治建设、文化建设、社会建设、生态建设的根基,能够为中华民族共同体提供文明现代化建设的新动能。面向新发展阶段中华民族共同体建设的现实需要,必须加快构建中华民族现代文明共同体的理论话语体系,注重符号形象体系、话语叙事体系、海外传播生态的建设以及理论发展规律的探索,为推进中华民族共同体建设提供现代文明理路。

The community for the Chinese nation,in its essence,is a community of civilization.On the basis of extensive and in-depth exchanges and integration and interaction,people from all ethnic groups in China collectively shape Chinese civilization,which has prominent features of continuality,innovation,unity,inclusiveness,and peacefulness and lays a solid foundation for the building of community for the Chinese nation of the time.In the context of the new era,the Party advances the building of community for the Chinese nation on all fronts and has successfully made a series of achievements to promote ethnic unity and progressions through focusing on material,political,cultural-ethical,social,and ecological advancement.As we advance the building of modern Chinese civilization on all fronts,strengthening foundations for economic,political,cultural,social,and ecological development can foster new drivers for the modernization of the civilization of community for the Chinese nation.Faced with the practical needs of building a community for the Chinese nation of the new development stage,we must step up efforts to establish the theoretical discourse system of community for modern Chinese civilization,lay emphasis on the construction of systems for symbol and image,discourse and narrative,as well as overseas communications,and on the exploration of development patterns for theories,so as to present theories and methods of modern civilization for promoting the building of community for the Chinese nation.
