This paper describes the theory and application of Guizhou's power capacity guarantee mechanism using survey and literature review methods.The results show that Guizhou's power capacity guarantee mechanism mainly includes theoretical points such as scarcity pricing mechanism,capacity compensation mechanism,strategic reserve capacity mechanism,and capacity market mechanism,thus providing support for power capacity guarantee.
